Getting started
Is a reference image enough to start?
Yes. A photo, screenshot, sketch or reference package is enough; we use it to search for suitable packaging options.
Is BEAUTYLABS a packaging factory?
BEAUTYLABS is a Korea-based full-service cosmetic packaging company. We combine our own packaging range with selected manufacturing partners in Korea and China and coordinate each project from sourcing to shipment.
What does working through BEAUTYLABS add compared with contacting factories directly?
One Korea-based point of contact for our own range and our manufacturing network. Packaging development, supplier communication, samples, customization, production follow-up and quality control coordination.
Can BEAUTYLABS connect us with Korean cosmetic manufacturers?
Yes. When formulation or finished-product manufacturing in Korea is also required, we connect the project with qualified Korean OEM/ODM manufacturers.
Does BEAUTYLABS manufacture cosmetics directly?
Our primary business is cosmetic packaging. Formulation and finished-product manufacturing are handled by Korean OEM/ODM manufacturers we introduce.
Sourcing & MOQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
Plastic cosmetic packaging generally starts from 5,000 pieces and cosmetic tubes from 10,000 pieces. Special structures, custom molds and some suppliers may require different quantities.
Where can BEAUTYLABS source cosmetic packaging?
Our own packaging range in Korea first, then partner manufacturers in Korea and China. The route depends on product type, quantity, design, budget and timeline.
Can BEAUTYLABS support both Korean and Chinese packaging?
Yes. Projects can be supplied from our own range or sourced through partners in Korea, China or both.
Does BEAUTYLABS develop custom packaging?
Yes. Custom structures, colors, decoration and molds are developed with partner manufacturers; custom mold costs are quoted separately.
Do you offer packaging aligned with EU PPWR?
Yes. Eco and EU PPWR-ready options include PCR (recycled) plastic, recyclable mono-material, bio-based and biodegradable materials, refillable and reduced-material formats, glass and aluminum. We recommend options per project and confirm material data with the manufacturer.

One Korea-based team covers our own range plus manufacturing partners in Korea and China, so you compare a broader set of options. Korean OEM/ODM connections are available when required.
Design & customization
Can packaging be customized?
Yes. Depending on the packaging and manufacturer: color matching, Pantone references, silk-screen printing, hot stamping, labels and coatings.
Can BEAUTYLABS match a Pantone color?
Yes. Send a Pantone code, brand color or sample; the final color is confirmed on a physical sample before production.
Can I use my own designer?
Yes. We provide the dieline and requirements for the selected packaging and review the finished artwork with the manufacturer before sampling.
Do you provide dielines for custom molds?
Yes. The dieline is prepared with the partner manufacturer once the structure is confirmed, then shared with your designer.
How many proof rounds are included?
We review until the artwork is production-ready, typically within a few rounds. Each round covers placement, color specification and print feasibility.
Can BEAUTYLABS design the artwork for us?
Yes. Artwork adaptation and mockups can be coordinated with a design partner; scope and fees are quoted separately.
Quality control
Do I need a compatibility and functionality test before mass production?
Recommended when a specific formula will be filled into the selected package. Your actual formula or bulk goes to the selected packaging manufacturer, which checks dispensing, pump or spray operation, leakage, fit and deformation. Manufacturer testing and sample costs are quoted separately.
Do you provide quality control for China-sourced packaging?
Yes. BEAUTYLABS coordinates production checks, AQL sampling, photo documentation and a QC report before shipment, according to the agreed scope. Independent third-party AQL inspection is arranged on request and quoted separately.
What is AQL inspection for cosmetic packaging?
AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) is a sampling method that evaluates a production batch against defined defect criteria. Inspection level and acceptance criteria are agreed per project.
Does BEAUTYLABS inspect packaging in China?
When requested, an independent third-party inspection agency performs the on-site inspection. Scope can include on-site checks, AQL sampling, photos and reporting; fees are quoted separately.
